“‘I think it’s important for us to share a platform with the Tourism Development Authority,’ said Aisha Adams, who founded her own media, marketing, and branding company. Aisha wants to continue to work to get the ear of tourism leaders in Asheville who she feels need to invest and foster Black entrepreneurs as well as those considering trying to start a tourism business. A first step would be convention and visitor leaders launching a branding effort that could start with profiling diverse business owners on Explore Asheville, the city’s tourism website.”
